What You'll Do
As a Business Analyst, you will work with and across our portfolio companies to unlock insights from their data. Baotris has built data infrastructure specifically for ecommerce companies and their many data sources. We consider this a core advantage for our companies and you’ll play a key role in their success.
Work directly on e-commerce client data to:
Analyze marketing campaigns to understand return on investment and to help identify opportunities for improvement
Investigate changes in key metrics, identifying correlations and potential root causes
Review automated standard reports for accuracy
Work with core team to:
Analyze prospective clients to highlight risks and identify opportunities
Provide feedback on in-house data technology including reporting, ad hoc analysis, and data processing pipeline
"Big data" SQL database such as Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift
Postgres or MySQL
Data analysis in Python using Pandas, Numpy
Data notebooks such as Jupyter
Data formats such as JSON, Parquet, and Arrow
Data analysis in Excel or Google Sheets
Reporting using tools such as Tableau, PowerBI, and Looker
Building statistical models using linear and logistic regression
Joining data from multiple data sources
Cleaning data by eliminating outliers, reconciliation, normalizing time zones and categories
Marketing: Analyzing ad performance on Facebook, Google, and other ad networks
Commerce: Analyzing sales, customer, product, and inventory data
Website: Analyzing site metrics such as sessions, clicks, and conversion rates
