What You'll Do

As a Marketing Manager - Organic + Influencer,  you will own the execution of all efforts related to influencer and affiliate marketing for a portfolio of brands, as well as content marketing and SEO efforts for a smaller group of brands. In this role, you will be critical to our team’s and clients’ success.

We are looking for teammates who are self-starters, analytical, and action-oriented contributors. Marketing Managers at Baotris work within our team of marketing specialists, engineers, and strategy experts to implement data-driven strategies via our proprietary playbook.

A project manager of sorts, our Marketing Managers wear many hats such as problem solver, business analyst, and marketing strategist to ensure client success. We’re looking for someone who can take the data from teammates' research and campaign results and turn it into successful organic and influencer/ affiliate experiments.

This person should be an advocate for their brands and work closely with the internal and external teams to ensure projects are pushing forward with the desired outcomes, and when they’re not - jumping in and grabbing the right people to figure out how to fix the issues.

  • Organic + Influencer/ Affiliate Point of Contact for 3-5 current e-commerce clients

  • Onboard new clients to tools and systems

  • Own the relationship with the brand for Organic + Influencer/Affiliate marketing including producing a bi-weekly report to share campaign results and updates with clients and being their first point of contact for advice

  • Organic Marketing Responsibilities for 2 current e-commerce investments

  • Content strategy creation and facilitate execution with external resources

  • Edit content to fit brand voice as needed

  • Develop ideas for content

  • SEO and Keyword research and tracking

  • Influencer/ Affiliate Responsibilities

  • Create initial campaigns based on Baotris Playbook guidelines including sourcing, communication, campaign execution - product seeding, collecting UGC, etc, and executing affiliate payments

  • Analyze campaign performance as well as data from brand’s other marketing campaigns to craft future campaigns and experiments


What the Hiring Process Looks Like

  • Resume Review

  • Phone Screener (15-30 minutes)

  • First Round Interview with Hiring Manager (30 minutes)

  • 2-3 Second Round Interviews with Team Members (30 minutes each)

  • Project with Presentation to the Team including Q+A (45 minutes, project should not take more than 2-3 hours to complete)

Preferred Experience

  • In-depth knowledge of social media channels and trends

  • Familiarity with GRIN, SEO, Keywords, and Content,  OR a willingness and ability to learn

  • Self-starter who can work through ambiguity to analyze and prioritize incoming asks

  • Genuine interest in the success of our customers

  • Great communication skills

  • Very detail oriented

  • Strong Writing Proficiency

  • Desire to grow

  • Great at (and enjoys) networking and working with others

  • Past startup and corporate experience

  • Previous ecommerce experience a plus
